Tech, Tech,Tech

Today was similar to many of the days we have seen recently, with the indices milling around unchanged through midday. Once again, beneath the surface, there was strength in various tech stocks, particularly the chip sector.

In the afternoon, the market crept a bit higher, but didn't get too far, as you can see in the box scores.

Away from stocks, green paper was a little stronger, oil lost 5%, fixed income was a little weaker, and the metals were weaker, as they lost about 0.75%. The action in the metals saw the miners give back a decent portion of yesterday's gains, but net-net on the last two days I would suggest that they look OK.

Housekeeping A reminder that there will be no more Raps until June 16, although Ask Fleck will run as usual.
